Primary care nurses work just as hard as DHB nurses to improve outcomes for all our patients.
You are super humans. Thank you for all you’ve done for me and my family, and people all over Nz.
Nurses are the backbone of any hospital, let’s keep things real
To all my colleagues in all your varying roles, thank you for all the hard work you do despite difficult situations.
I believe nurses should have pay parity. I worked for 30 years doing my best for patients in my care.
Heartfelt thanks for your care and dedication- what would we do without you?
A poem for our health professionals working hard during COVID-19:
Dear beloved nurses
Of North to South island
From day 1 you stood firm
Courageously you confirmed
That United we can do so much more
Covid, thanks for stopping by
But it’s time to say goodbye
There’s nothing more you can do
As we are United as we will ever be
God bless all health professionals
In NZ and all around the world
Stand firm, stand your ground
COVID-19 You’ve just hit the wrong turn
“He waka eke noa” – We are all in this together.
Continue to work together, stay strong, stay united
Massive thanks to all our nurses, midwives and healthcare workers holding up those we love who need your care and expertise. You are doing an amazing job 💖 xx Cee & Paddy
Remembering the nurses we've lost while saving other lives during this Pandemic.
I lit these candles tonight , no reason, just did.... then I saw the suggestion to light one for our nurses. 🤗🤗.. So grateful we have them. (Nurses) Who do we turn to when we re sick .. or our loved ones are sick . “The Nurse”
Thank you to the amazing nurses out there! Thinking of those who have lost family, friends, colleagues during this crisis. Xxx
We will remember your service to us. #hereforyou
Forever remembered in love. Rest In Peace.
A big thank you from us ...... To all the nurses, midwifes, kaimahi hauora (medical staff) and health care assistants xx
Wairua is the light that releases you during pain and mourning. Wairua breathes fresh air into tired lungs. Even during hardship Joy can be found. New beginnings and peaceful endings.
Thinking of my colleagues across the world. So proud of our profession and all that we achieve together. 200 years of growth, knowledge, skills, experience, love and professionalism. What a team!
To all you doctors, nurses and health care workers out there.
I am so very great full for all that you have done are doing and continue to do for all your clients out there in these unprecedented times. It is scary but you are strong and willing to put yourself out there and that’s to be commended!
Support each other in what you need. You are my heroes, the unsung ones, the selfless ones who put others first who wouldn’t be cared for if it wasn’t for you!. You are amazing and thank you. This task can often be thankless and with out you where would we be? God forbid..
Thank you once again. God bless you and your families, keeping you all safe. Kia kaha.
We are here for each other. May it continue.

To my healthcare colleagues all across New Zealand, Thank you! Thank you for sharing your knowledge freely, thank you for your commitment to the people and families who you care for, thank you for supporting each other, thank you for stepping up even when you would rather not. Kia Kaha.
Kia Kaha NZ health care workers. Particular shout out to other Practice Nurses who have given many flu vaccines over the lockdown. Thinking of health care workers who have lost their lives all around the world looking after patients with COVID.
Proud to be a nurse
To my colleagues around the world working in health – nursing and non nursing. Sending my grattitude, my support, my positive and kind, best wishes for international strong public health. Ngā Mihi, Kia Kaha
Dear Nurses, Thank you for all you do to help us navigate the health system and to support individuals and their families using the health system. I value your advocacy and your care. In the current Covid 19 crisis we know that you (and your families), like other essential workers, have been under real pressure but you have stepped up for us. It is not enough just to say thank you I want people to take action to ensure you are paid what you are worth, that you have decent and safe working conditions and that there are enough of you to enable you to do the job the way you want to. I have seen first hand the impact inadequate staffing has on nurses and the care that you provide - despite your best efforts. Finally to thank you we need to ensure our public health system is funded properly. Let's stand together for the health system we want and need.
Nurses Rock……thank you!!
Thank you for being courageous superhero’s in the frontlines xx
To all essential workers around the world….united we stand.
Thank you. All the way from Te Puke.
Glad to Unite together. Nurses, Be Proud hold our heads up high
